Microsoft Front Page is one example of this type of software, although there are lots of other titles that work in basically the same way. Some of them are even freeware, which means they are free of charge to download and use.

A lot of the web site design programs available now come complete with templates to make building a site a heck of a lot easier. Often the template can be customized to suit your individual needs and gives you a simple structure with which to start building your site. Designing a web site doesn't have to be difficult. Start small, take advantage of helpful software and you'll have your site up and running before you know it!
